Description

Classic mountaineering - a nice glacier hike combined with classic ridge climbing (up to grade III-) with a comfortable approach via cable car.

First, an easy traverse across the glacier to reach the Wildlahnerscharte (approximately 1 hour). Then, it proceeds over steep glacier ice to the North Ridge and along the ridge to the summit.

We will descent the same route, or do a traverse of the Olperer, depending on conditions.
